The Last Eclipse observes Germany’s energy transition as a fragile state of overlap. Coal plants still operate, nuclear facilities stand suspended, and renewable infrastructures rise within landscapes shaped by decades of extraction. Returning repeatedly to the same regions, the project traces how systems fade while identities formed around them begin to dissolve. It explores energy not as policy, but as lived condition—where land, labor, memory, and uncertainty coexist in a slowly dimming era.
