The Dani in the Baliem Valley in Highland Papua was discovered only in the last century. Despite the arrival of Christianity, Muslim Indonesians and modern way of life, the Dani still live very much in their traditional farming and hunting way. Dani warriors dress themselves with their hunt - beautiful bird feathers and boar teeth.

The pandemic prompted a rethink of life and fired a desire to travel, see and understand the world. Travelling the world to open my eyes and mind, I strive to use my humble skill to capture the human condition through the lens.
