Repetition of motion and shadow reduces speed to structure, transforming a sports scene into a visual cycle of form and rhythm.

Born in Japan in 1972, I began focusing seriously on photography after the Great East Japan Earthquake. My work explores moments when structure, balance, and human order become temporarily unstable in everyday life.

Awards My photographs have been recognized in several competitions in Japan and internationally, including 1st place in the sports category of CAPA, the Grand Prix at the 30th Yume Kensetsu Photo Contest, an Honorable Mention at the Tokyo International Foto Awards, and selection for the longlist of the Booooooom Photo Awards.
