"Natsukashii" in Japanese means the comforting feeling of nostalgia that arises when a happy memory resurfaces from the past. Here, this feeling was born with the genesis of this experimental project, the result of the convergence of my childhood passion for drawing (ukiyo-e), my passion for photography and Food, more specifically tea. In fact, the subject of this series is an old ceremony grade matcha tea.
Thus, this series not only pushes the boundaries between photography and abstract drawing but also pays tribute to this feeling, placing the conveyance of harmony and serenity at its core.

Growing up in the Food universe for many years, as an authentic "foodie" I'm exploring culinary art with an eye which search beauty, things that make sense, innovative renderings and tasty things.
Plus, I started to photograph more intensively with a near-minimalist and modern approach through the fields of conceptual Food and Still Life in 2020 and I also really love representing asymmetric forms just like food's richness can reflect to.
In parallel way, my acquaintance for macrophotography is equally high and is an unaltered playground for exploring everyday textures, fascinating for sure!
