Cherry blossoms do not bloom only in special places. In the park I visit regularly, there stands a single tree that heralds the arrival of spring year after year. That scenery remains in my mind not as a vivid record, but as a vague impression, along with the light, wind, and the feel of the air. This work traces the memories of spring that were etched in the heart at that time, depicting the casual yet irreplaceable emotions of spring that everyone has encountered in their daily lives.
"Not just what the eyes see, but the beauty reflected in the heart."
Rather than merely documenting scenes as they are, I am drawn to the impressions that remain long after the moment has passed.
What interests me is not the clarity of what was seen, but the way those impressions soften, shift, and quietly take on a different form within memory. Through photography, I seek to reconstruct that process and preserve what was certainly there, even as its shape continues to change.
