“Tulip Studies” examines the relationship between form, light and transformation through close studies of cultivated tulips. Removed from their botanical context and presented against deep black space, the flowers become sculptural subjects whose gestures and irregularities are brought into focus. The series reflects an ongoing interest in impermanence, observation and the expressive potential of natural forms.
