Scenes from my life and my travels after marriage, after retirement, after my sons left home; a time that may sound lonely but isn't as I am able to indulge my passion for photography. In my final year as a student at Manchester Polytechnic (1973-74), I often used text in my visual work and I have used fragments of this alongside some of my photos here to create a connection between my artwork as a student and my current photography; the contact prints are also from my student days. The text fragments are not intended to have any literal meaning.

An amateur photographer, retired teacher and writer, published on 1x.com where I am a volunteer Senior Critic. I also have portfolios on LensCulture and PhotoVogue. Currently, I am concentrating on photographing architecture, but street photography and nature, including documentation of storm damage in woodlands, are other areas of interest for me.
