Sometimes, simply changing your perspective can reveal unexpected visual compositions. At Barcelona's Museu de Ciències Naturals, the elevated entrance forces visitors to pass beneath the cantilevered structure. Capturing this undercroft upward through the mirrored piers I brought into play the two-dimensional nature of photography to eliminate the majority of the physical volume, reducing the structural mass to abstract geometric shapes.
