This work was created by first photographing a woman and then applying multiple exposures on a breakwater.

Inside the silhouette of a single female figure, approximately eleven smaller human silhouettes are embedded. Each one symbolizes memories, emotions, alternate possibilities, or the various “other selves” hidden within.

The contrast between the turbulent, textured water on the left and the smooth flowing light on the right expresses the tension between our outer appearance and the inner multiplicity we carry.

A quiet meditation on identity and its hidden selves.
