This modern series is graphically a tribute to four « Food » items in a wide acception by representing symbolically their delicate balance of circumstances that its have encountered throughout history to become essential elements of French culinary culture.
Thus, the expression "What's on the tube?" in the title of this series not only humorously references the use of actual tubes in the set design but also ironically alludes to the fact that these subtle balances of circumstances, sometimes the result of deliberate acts or fortuitous events, were not achieved by passively watching television!
Growing up in the Food universe for many years, as an authentic "foodie" I'm exploring culinary art with an eye which search beauty, things that make sense, innovative renderings and tasty things.
Plus, I started to photograph more intensively with a near-minimalist and modern approach through the fields of conceptual Food and Still Life in 2020 and I also really love representing asymmetric forms just like food's richness can reflect to.
In parallel way, my acquaintance for macrophotography is equally high and is an unaltered playground for exploring everyday textures, fascinating for sure!
