Acqua Madre explores the boundary between myth and urban reality through the figure of the mermaid. Blending realism and digital technology, the project immerses the creature in domestic settings, deconstructing its sacred aura to reveal a fragile and deeply human dimension. Far from the ocean, the mermaid becomes a metaphor for diversity, fluid identity and multicultural coexistence: a mirror of the invisible narratives that run through the contemporary city.
