The world’s longest running civil war,spanning almost 80yrs has been raging in Myanmar where over 180,000 people have been killed, a majority of those deaths in the past five years and millions have been displaced since the Myanmar military launched its coup in 2021. Large areas of the country remain under the control of resistance groups such as the Karen National Liberation Army whose mandate is the liberation & protection of the Karen people. This series shows KNLA soldiers and civilans in frontline areas living under the daily threat of military airstrikes & being forced to flee.
