In the West Bank, even short distances can take hours. Transit follows aging Mercedes-Benz cars from the 1960s to the 1980s as they move through checkpoints, closures and rerouted roads. Durable, repairable and often inherited, these vehicles mirror the persistence of their owners. Through delayed journeys, improvised repairs and memories of freer movement, the project explores how time, belonging and resistance travel across a landscape where mobility is constantly negotiated.
