The idea behind the images is to make movement in space visible and to capture that fleeting, decisive moment.
The works depict the passing of time – the kind that escapes the naked eye. The creative process behind these images is always exciting because it requires close collaboration between different artists: between the dancers and myself as the photographer.
The timing has to be just right to capture the most compelling moments in time.
My aim is to capture the mystery of the moment – its surreal reality.
