The Unheard Story

Some stories spend a lifetime moving through silence. They leave traces, shape lives, survive in memories, and continue to exist long after the world has stopped paying attention.

In Italian, the word inascoltata carries layers of meaning. It speaks of something expressed, yet left unanswered; something present, yet overlooked.

Created in 2026 by bringing together memories and photographic fragments from a body of work shaped over years, these images do not seek to explain or conclude.

They leave traces.

They open a door — and leave you inside.

Qaiser Nadeem (b. 1985) is a self-taught conceptual photographer based in Italy. Active since 2013, his work explores the space between memory and imagination, using photography as a visual language to give form to silence, emotion, and inner experience.
