Humanity often creates treasures within worlds of its own. In doing so, we distance ourselves from the world around us, with each achievement seeming to confirm our place as the pinnacle of creation. Yet we risk forgetting that we remain connected to Mother Nature, that we are products of her grand architecture and part of her beautiful yet fragile treasure.

In this series, the treasures of humanity are united with those of nature. Created entirely from my own photographs, the works are composed in Photoshop and digitally hand-painted using a drawing tablet, without AI-generated imagery.

Cheraine Collette, 1993, the Netherlands, is recognized for her ethereal photographic paintings that blur the boundaries between reality and imagination. She’s included in the permanent Museum collection of the Museo d'Arte di Chianciano Terme and exhibited at prestigious venues such as Art Basel CONTEXT Miami and Scope Miami, Contemporary Istanbul, Art Karlsruhe, and the 8th Biennale of Chianciano. Solo shows in Amsterdam and Barcelona, and her work has been featured in group shows across the globe. Her works are an oeuvre found in esteemed corporate and private collections worldwide.

Awards Cheraine’s work has been published by NG China Traveler, twice in 2020, and is featured by FORBES, My Modern Met, National Geographic, The Wallace Collection Museum, and many more.
She received over 300 prestigious international awards and honors since her first participation in 2019, immediately winning 1st place at the IPA, and including two Golden Pangea Trophies, and ‘Fine Art Photographer Of The Year’ from world-renowned institutions for her photographic paintings and books.
