Réflexion photographique sur la continuité évolutive
Cette série explore la progression infinie de la vie par la fusion symbolique entre le corps humain et la coquille de l'escargot. La spirale logarithmique, des galaxies à notre ADN, devient métaphore du voyage évolutif nous reliant à la poussière d'étoiles.
Chaque image invite à une pause contemplative, à nous reconnaître partie d'un continuum cosmique en transformation. La figure hybride n'est pas une aberration, mais notre vraie nature.
Nous sommes moins maîtres de la nature qu'une manifestation récente.

Ricardo de Vicq was born in 1950 in Rio de Janeiro and has been based 30 years in São Paulo. In the mid 60's Ricardo learnt to draw and paint with the artist and master Ivan Serpa at the MAM RJ (Modern Art Museum, Rio de Janeiro). He started to work as a photographer, shooting artists' portraits. His personal work has been featured in exhibitions in locations including Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Paris, Florence, Pistoia, Los Angeles and Vermont. In 2014 he was selected to exhibit his work at the Biennale D'Arte di Asolo in Treviso, Italy.
