Refineries of Spain explores the monumental landscapes of the country's oil industry through a detached and architectural gaze. Rather than documenting industrial activity, the series examines refineries as territorial infrastructures whose scale, geometry and material presence reshape the landscape. Positioned between industry and landscape photography, these images reflect on the visual legacy of the fossil fuel era and the complex relationship between energy production, territory and the built environment.
