Kaunas delights with its architecture.
In the city center stands a magnificent church surrounded by a large square. A long, linden-lined avenue—illuminated by streetlights and thousands of lights strung through the trees—leads to the church from two directions. The square itself is lit by eight symmetrically placed lampposts. At the transition between day and night, amidst magical clouds, a spherical panorama emerged in which the architecture and lights formed a magnificent golden ring set with a large sapphire.
