Across Hong Kong, the finite nature of land collides with the looming shadow of Beijing. The geopolitical horizon is shrinking. To survive, the city has no choice but to conquer the sky. VERTICAL SIEGE documents this state of compression. The urban fabric becomes a physical manifestation of political and social tension. The series explores a concrete island where the horizon has been erased by walls of glass and steel. It is a visual analysis of resilience inside a dual system of urban and geopolitical pressure that leaves no room to breathe.
