Rapid urbanization is erasing local traditions and mass-producing sterile cities. In response to this crisis, a sake brewery renovated an Edo-period restaurant and established a brewing base. They fused the sake brewery, which is facing the danger of decline, with the geisha culture, which shares the common DNA of "pride," and named it "Tokyo Pride." They redefined the culture of the past as a "symbol" for regional revitalization.
