Produced in collaboration with Partance, a women’s employment center, and supported by Women and Gender Equality Canada, this project puts a face to the women who are blazing trails where they are least expected—on construction sites, in machine shops, in industrial forests, or in heavy-duty vehicle repair shops. Each portrait was shot directly in the participants’ work environment to ground the image in reality and do justice to their skills, not their status as symbols.
