From the mountains to medinas, desert sands to city streets, the game is more than a sport, it’s a way of life, building communities. The game holds no boundary’s, they play it anywhere using makeshift goal posts set up on cracked mountain dirt, abandoned construction sites, or the narrow streets of the Medina. Passion drives the play, not possessions, their shoes are often an afterthought. What matters most is the ball at their feet.

UK born Sarah Louise Ramsay began her career in 1990s London, assisting on location and in studios before award winning personal projects led to global advertising commissions. Her photography seeks a deep connection between viewer and subject, capturing real issues and lived experiences with authenticity and precision. Known for fearless shoots in extreme environments, her work is rigorously researched and socially grounded. She was nominated for the Prix Pictet in 2025 and has exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts, Head On Photo Festival, and in Paris and Venice.
