Backlit by bright sunlight streaming through the casement window, I did this study on natural light, using it to define different aspects of the female body. Using a full spectrum, from charcoal black, to greys and whites, light shading outlines her lower body, stretched up on tip toes. Strong linear angles are juxtaposed with the softness of her curves.
