On a misty evening in the Hida mountains, the "Wide View Hida" train emerged from the trees and glided across a quiet lake. Loved for its panoramic windows and scenic views, this train retired after 34 years of service. I, too, was drawn to its charm and aimed to capture both the train and the tranquil spirit of Hida’s nature. Using a static composition, I sought to express stillness—and the distant rhythm of the train echoing across the bridge. May you sense both sound and silence in this moment.
