This ongoing project explores identity as dynamic and multifaceted, rejecting it as a singular truth. Triptychs depict this: first, a half-lit portrait suggesting identity's yearning for completeness. Second, fragmented images show the stratified nature of experience. Third, Dadaist-inspired remixing subverts perception, revealing identity as a construction, deconstruction, and a continuous reconstruction process. Torn, repinned prints on portable panels emphasize identity's fluid nature

Avellino, a contemporary Italian photographer, investigates reality through the "beyond" and dreamy, suspended atmospheres. She uses photography to challenge fixed ideas, questioning perception's objectivity and creating a meeting point between dream and reality. Her projects often emerge from liminal, in-between spaces that are full of possibilities. Avellino also views identity not as innate but as a continuous historical, cultural, and social construction. Even minimalistic details become symbols, functioning as a visual synecdoche where a part represents a tension toward the whole
