This Japanese proverb means “even just an inch ahead is darkness.” It reflects the idea that the future is unknowable—one step or moment forward can change everything. It reminds us to value the present and stay mindful of life’s fragile, shifting path. In this photograph, a solitary frog sits quietly on a leaf, its back to the viewer, gazing into the shadows. I aimed to express the delicate stillness before what comes next, and the subtle tension of facing a future wrapped in mystery.
I am a Japan-based photographer who captures a wide range of subjects, including animals, landscapes, people, and insects.
Among these, I am especially passionate about macro photography, dedicating myself to revealing the beauty hidden in the finest details.
In each moment of capturing the miniature world, I infuse my work with both personal expression and refined technique
