Scattered across Europe are countless surviving secret bunkers where the continent’s future was once decided. The resurgence of war has reminded us of the significance of such places, but no conflict has added more to the collection of these strongholds than World War II. Eighty years later, much of the Atlantic Wall and many other World War II bunkers still stand – and attract visitors.
