These three young Masai men look out over the vast landscape of the Masai Mara in Kenya. They are beautifully lit by the sun setting behind them while the storm approaches in the distance ahead of them.

Sandra de Swart is a professional photographer from the Netherlands with a deep passion for fine art photography. She primarily creates portraits of people and dogs, inspired by the style of the Old Masters. Her images resemble timeless paintings, rich in atmosphere, emotion, and refinement. Self-taught in Photoshop, she developed her own visual language through years of experimentation, observation, and sensing. Her work captures not only the visible but, more importantly, the tangible.
