My self-portrait is the result of an articulated investigation into what was left of me after the abuse I suffered at the hands of my father, an alcoholic and violent person.
This investigation gives me the chance to love myself despite the pain.
I become an object and a tool, by combining studies and technical skills to communicate through so many scars.
Looking in photography, the ability to frame other artistic languages present in the construction of my creative process.
In the end, my self-portrait is a struggle and an attempt to get back into focus.
