I spent three days on the Isle of Eigg in Scotland, with the feeling that I had reached the end of the world. There was a strange kind of calm—both soothing and slightly unsettling. This photo, Lost Sea, was taken on Laig Bay beach, as the wind and shifting light sculpted patterns in the black sand. A powerful moment, where nature set the pace and imposed its silence.
