This photo was taken during high tide at Waiao Beach in Toucheng Township, Yilan County. Before taking the pictures, I checked the location's weather conditions and tide schedule. Due to the unique terrain of this area, waves passing between large rocks create fan-shaped patterns on the beach. Local people call these waves "Skirt hem waves" because the waves resemble the hem of a skirt.
