The "Nebulous Laurisilva" project is part of the protected ancient laurisilva forest on Madeira. According to estimates, some of the trees are several hundred or even thousand years old. In addition to the otherwise typical tree figures, this is an area away from the main tourist spot. The trees are characterised by heavy moss growth and are partially surrounded by small rocks that are also moss-covered. The challenge is to create the right misty atmosphere in this forest to achieve the mystical effect with a "Lord of the Rings" look.

My name is Michael Paramonti, born 1971 in Germany. I am originally from North-Rhine-Westphalia and since 2016 I live in the South East in the Black Forest. I find my favorite motives and themes when travelling to different locations in the world and capturing various unique landscapes.
Along the way I always pay the most respect to he people and the nature and give it all the time that is needed.
