This work was taken from the banks of Hakuba Oike Lake in the Northern Alps of Japan.
I wanted people to be able to gaze at the stars, something that we tend to forget in the hustle and bustle of the city, and experience the universe from the quiet lakeside, and I put that into the work.
In order to bring out the faint Milky Way, I used a super-second exposure with a fast f-number lens.
