After a long walk from Mundaka to Cape Matxitxako on the Basque coast in Northern Spain I enjoyed the silence in this place, underneath the lighthouse, hardly anyone being around. A fantastic view over the rough sea and the rocky formations and in front the islet San Juan de Gaztelugatxe which is connected with the mainland by a stone bridge. On its highest point there stands a small church.
