The torii gate is a symbol of nature worship in Japanese culture and has long been regarded as a solemn gate separating the sacred realm from the human world.
This photograph captures the moment when lightning illuminates the torii and the sea amid a thunderstorm.
That dramatic scene visualizes the “invisible message” born where ancient Japanese prayers intersect with the power of nature.
I was Born in Chiba, Japan in 1988. I started my photography journey in 2013.
My initial interest in photography was sparked by my desire to capture the beautiful night view of Nagasaki, a city I visited on a trip.
While I initially focused on cityscapes at night, I gradually found myself being drawn to natural landscapes.
I strive to photograph the various locations I visit from different themes and perspectives.
I approach photography from both analogue and digital aspects. My aim is to create work with a goal of producing prints.
