There is something solemn in the silence of a herd. To many, it may seem like an image of tranquility, but to the buiatra, that silence tells stories.Davide Bolognini is an Italian buiatra with over 25 years of experience, a central figure in modern livestock farming. His profession combines sensitivity with advanced technical skills: from clinical care to surgery, from gynecology to pharmacological management and advanced techniques such as embryo transfer enhance the genetics of herds. The buiatra has evolved in recent years, working alongside farmers to improve the health and productivity.

Fiorella Baldisserri, is a freelance photographer based in Bologna. Since 2016, she has attended courses on photography and a one-year Masterclass in photojournalism in Rome. She has been published in Seeds, L Inkiesta, Photovogue, Corriere, Elle, Erodoto108, Il Fotografo, SDN, ND, Witness Journal, Eye of Photography, Repubblica, and Il Carlino . She has exhibited in Olbia, Bologna, Rome, Lodi, Trieste, Palermo, Barcelona, Tbilisi, and Sofia. One of her projects was included in Cortona On The Move The Covid-19 Visual P.
