A red-eyed tree frog perches on a branch at the water’s edge, bridging two worlds—one underwater, one forest. Shot with a split-shot technique in Costa Rica’s Osa Peninsula, this moment was planned for months to catch the frog’s breeding ritual. Using a Canon 5D Mark IV in a Subal housing with Inon strobes, only the underwater scene is lit, leaving the tree above untouched—nature raw, balanced, and alive
