As dusk descends over the sacred hills of Yoshino, autumn reveals itself in quiet tones.
Mist drifts gently across the valley, wrapping ancient temples and fiery foliage in a fleeting stillness—
a moment where nature breathes in silence, and the season lingers like memory.

Yasushi Kashima is a photographer based in Osaka, Japan.
His work focuses on capturing the ephemeral beauty of nature and the enduring spirit of cultural traditions. From mist-covered landscapes of Yoshino to the intense fire festivals of Japan, his photography seeks to reveal moments where light, time, and human presence converge.
