Some of the golden larch trees had fogged ice on them. I do not know why there is a difference between trees that have fogging and those that do not. It may be that there are more leaves on some trees than others, or it may be that the direction of the wind makes a difference in the way the cold air hits the trees. Whatever the reason, this scene made me realize that the seasons move in different ways and gave me a special appreciation for the beauty of nature.
