"Until the last petal falls" is intended to blend fairytale symbolism with an environmental theme. A baby lynx, innocent, poised and contemplative, gazes at a single red rose protected under glass and set against a backdrop of an apocalyptic landscape. Drawing inspiration from The Little Prince and Beauty and the Beast, this image reinterprets the fleeting and imminent fall of petals as a metaphor for our planet’s fragility in the face of climate change. The overarching and poetic question lingers: can we preserve our planet, the only place we can call home, before the last petal falls?
