NYC is a city of frenetic energy, but just outside my window, is a humble patch of turf nestled between skyrise buildings that becomes a haven of respite from the urban chaos, drawing in sunbathers, frolicking pups, and passersby from all walks of life.

Each day offers a new scene: shifting tree thrown shadows, unique glass reflections, and an ever-changing canvas frame moments of quietude, connection and the simple joy of basking in the sun.

This series offers an alternative slice of New York life, a collection of moments from my daily snaps over the summer and autumn months.
