“It’s not all men, but it’s always a man.” is a photography project exposing the everyday harassment women face—being followed, catcalled, stared at, or having their boundaries crossed. Each staged image reenacts a real experience, giving participants a way to reclaim power. The project acts as both protest and refuge, highlighting the emotional toll of behavior often dismissed. It sparks dialogue on the gap between what’s legal and what’s right, asking: how can women feel safe in public spaces?
