Montevecchio is a mining complex in the Southern Sardinia (Italy). The village of Montevecchio currently has about 60 inhabitants. The activity of Montevecchio ceased in 1991, after the latest occupation by miners. Inside the workshops, buildings built at the beginning of the ’900, the repair of machinery and equipment for the mining activity was combined the work of craftsmen and engineers. It’s a past still alive, whose echo is manifested in the form of still life, scenographic as compositions of giant cassettes for casting and shelves for wooden models, or evocative as a welder mask.
