Albedo is a visual meditation on Antarctica’s reflective skin—its power to bounce light back into the sky, and what’s at stake as that surface fades. These abstract and landscape photographs examine the role of ice not only as form, but as function: regulating Earth’s climate by holding the sun at bay. As the white recedes, so does our planetary equilibrium. Through fractured textures, soft gradients, and light-sculpted contours, this series captures both the aesthetic wonder and the climatic urgency of a continent in slow retreat.
