I strive to utilize the power of medium format to reveal infinitely precise details, which, in large exhibition prints, create a new layer for each work. A seemingly simple and beautiful form, when viewed up close, reveals the depth of beauty of a woman's body, albeit unaltered. Skin imperfections, moles, and scars are visible at high magnifications. The frames are carefully lit to minimize post-production, and the subject itself is not retouched. This is my protest against the heavily retouched nature of commercial, fashion, and portrait photography.
