iReality: Press Like to Exist

This is a conceptual fine art portrait series exploring the inner contradictions of adolescence in the age of social media. The staged images blend Renaissance-inspired aesthetics with modern symbols—likes, tags, screens—to reflect how teenagers are shaped by online validation. Each portrait becomes a metaphor for emotional isolation, curated identity, and the longing to connect. Despite their polished appearance, the photographs reveal quiet despair, showing how beauty, approval, and exposure have become new currencies of self-worth.

I am a French fine art photographer with a multicultural background, born and raised in Kazakhstan and having worked for over a decade in Dubai, UAE. A few years ago, I settled in Provence, France. My artistic vision is shaped by my background in psychology, painting, and my deep interest in human emotions and cultural diversity.
