The title of the series primarily evokes a dialogue between Baroque stone sculptures and the living human body. We observe the relationship between sculpture and body, the tattooed skin and the lichen-covered stone, the Baroque era and the present. Although the works depict nudes, the erotic aspect is subdued - what we perceive is a "mere" mutual dialogue across time: a communication between the girl and the statue. This interaction sometimes takes the form of a silent conversation, at other times a struggle, a moment of triumph, or a quiet shelter beneath the statue´s protection.
