In YIELD, I showcase unplanned, reportage photos shot with low-resolution cameras, taken from 2006 to the present, not so much a complete anthology as more a cherry-picked overview. Rather than imposing narratives, by employing pixilation, subtle blurs and grain, in these images I leave narratives unresolved, allegories hinting at broader stories. By not spoon-feeding narratives in this way, I feel I can engender a much more personal connection with viewers, and thus a wider range of human experiences and emotions.
