A Site at the Crossroads of Landscapes

The architecture of the Cartier-Roberval archaeological site blends history, contemplation, and landscape. The trail and walkway, like timeless narratives, rise between river and riverbank in Quebec City. The series "A Site Where Landscapes and Cultures Meet" unveils the harmony between the project and its surroundings, a witness to the first chapter of the French colony in North America 500 years ago. Inspired by the dialogue between Indigenous and European cultures, the project offers a panoramic immersion into the remains, the river, and human history.

As a photographer, Loïc Lefebvre captures the poetry of places and moments by interpreting the interplay between objects, people, and the territories they inhabit. A certified drone pilot, he enhances his vision by offering unique aerial perspectives, revealing often unseen architectural and landscape dimensions of the spaces he immortalizes. His work reflects a profound understanding of environments, expressed through a singular artistic vision in which aerial imagery plays a central role.
